Finally Home: An OC Virtual Pet

You're finally home! 

Come interact with your character in their virtual house! Inspired by Tamagochi, this virtual pet runs on real time with simple daily tasks to keep you coming back! A special video game attack for Art Fight 2022

How to play: The game runs on real time, meaning that your character will get hungry, your plants will grow and you can do daily activities with them!  

Features: 

• Every character has unique animations when you click, drag, drop, feed and talk to them!
• Characters who are capable of speech have many pieces of dialogue to unlock including a new piece of dialogue for every month of the year!
• A special mini-game to play once a day to earn money!
• Furniture to buy, place and save to decorate your character's home how you want!
• Your own profitable rose garden that grows when you water them daily! Don't worry, if you don't water them then your character will as long as you remember to feed them!
• Customizable colours for walls and floors

NOTES:

- If your character is depicted in this virtual pet and they have food or dialogue that don't fit, please let me know and I will provide you with a desktop build with a fix. Dialogue can be turned off for characters, just let me know! It just makes them harder to befriend.

- I have run into an error that bricks your safe file but I haven't been able to replicate it

- It is possible that this version is unplayable and that purchasing items won't work in which case I will update it with a fix! Keep the text data available just in case. Please bare with me as some last minute errors started to crop up cries

- IMPORTANT: IF I NEED TO UPDATE THIS FILE FOR ANY REASON OR YOU RUN INTO A GAME BREAKING ERROR YOUR SAVE FILE WILL BE WIPED! REMEMBER TO BACK UP  THE TEXT SAVE OFTEN.  Go to the stats menu (The blue !) and click the blue save button with the copy symbol and save that text somewhere safe. In the case of data loss, you will be able to copy and paste that into the bottom field and restore some of your save data (not placed items or watered status.) For the time being, the ability to load this text has been turned off because of some glitches, however the text will work eventually so please keep a copy safe!
